Services to Therapists

If you are a hypnotherapist or psychotherapist, please feel very welcome to contact me if I can be helpful--the following are the main ways I have worked with other therapists to date, but if you feel that I can help in another way, please do contact me.

  1. It may be that you are seeking formal supervision.  I am very happy to meet with therapists who are seeking this, to explore the possibility--with no commitment on either side.  I am accredited as a supervisor by the Hypnotherapy Society, which means that if you are a professional member of the HS, regular supervision with me will fulfil the Society's requirement if you wish to apply for a higher level of professional membership in the future.  Please feel welcome to phone my practice number 01543 820092 or email me to discuss this. (click the button marked 'E-Mail Me' on the left) Supervision fees are  usually those recommended in the Hypnotherapy Society guidelines, although we can discuss this further if needed.

  2. Many therapists, based too far away to travel to Walsall to meet, have emailed me for informal case discussion and consultation.  I always enjoy this contact with colleagues, and I do not charge for this.  Many of us are practicing alone, so it's good to have colleague contact!  I have learned a lot  from colleagues in this way, over the years.  If you are a therapist, and would like to discuss cases, therapy in general, or just 'talk shop', just click the button marked 'E-Mail Me' on the left--I'll look forward to hearing from you!

  3. As you may know from the web page about my training and experience, I studied business studies, and worked in marketing before training as a therapist, and a number of therapists throughout the country have attended weekend seminars I have taught, on Business Development.  As you, a therapist, will already know, training and ability as a hypnotherapist does not necessarily lead automatically to a successful practice.  This is because the business skills of setting up and effectively marketing a practice are often not taught, or are only briefly covered, on many training courses.  In my opinion this means that some excellent therapists do not achieve the professional and financial success their skills deserve, and leads to many who need their skills being deprived of their help.

If your hypnotherapy training organisation wishes to
consider running the course in-house, please feel very welcome to contact me by phone or email to discuss your needs.

  4. The contents of that course has since been condensed into a Hypnotherapy Business Manual.  Some who have attended the courses, and others who have since purchased the manual alone, report that the detailed business methods it contains have enabled them to move from a very part-time practice to a good full-time living.  The purchase price of the Manual is £105 for a hard copy, or £75 for electronic book form. The first 15 pages are available free for evaluation, to therapists considering whether or not to purchase the manual.

If you are registered as a practicing member of the Hypnotherapy Society, or of the National Council for Hypnotherapy, of if you are on the UK Council for Psychotherapy register, and would like to receive the first section of the manual free for evaluation, please email me, and I will send it.   If you are a member of a different hypnotherapy organisation, please email me, so that we can discuss this.
